Obama Sends More Troops

Hello Readers,

Today while researching recent articles in the news on www.prisonplanet.com when I came across this article. The article by Bill Van Auken talks about how newly awarded Nobel  Peace Prize winner, Obama, has ordered for 21,000 troops to go into Afghanistan and another 13,000 troops on the down low. If he does infact send all 34,000 troops then this will be the biggest surge sent at one time into Iraq or Afghanistan. This number is bigger than any of George Bush’s surges. The fact that Barack Obama was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize 11 days after taking office is beyond me. How can someone be nominated for such a prestigious award for doing nothing. Anyway, by sending the 34,000 troops to Afghanistan it will raise the number of American troops in Afghanistan and Iraq to 189,000 which is 3,000 more troops than Bush had in both countries at the height of his surge. Obama still has the decision to make about sending 40,000 more troops to Afghanistan. He has brainwashed the American public with “CHANGE” but it is clear that he is finding it difficult to follow through with his words.  By saying publicly that he is sending 21,000 troops to Afghanistan but then quietly sending 13,000 additional troops he is following in Bush’s footsteps. Also, Hillary Clinton, Obama’s Secretary of State, said on a radio interview, “We will not rest until we do defeat Al Qaeda.” I will leave you with that, but to me, this does not sound like the peace and change a high percentage of the American public voted for.

Present Day Conspiracies

Dear Readers,

In present day society, in the United States of America, the population gets their news from the mainstream media. Many people solely watch one news station, i.e. CNN is democratic, which can be extremely biased to one party. To get more accurate news, it is best to watch many shows and read many different articles. Having an eclectic knowledge of a certain piece of news will get you the most neutral news. Many people rely on media so much that they do not stop to think for themselves.  When people think of a conspiracy, the first thing that comes to mind is an idiotic or radical view of an event. These are the definitions of ignorant people. In this blog, there will be cold, hard facts and statistics about conspiracies and then it is up to the reader to interpret what they mean. I will share my view on each of my entries but ultimately your mind should not be made up by someone else’s view.

That’s all for now,

HJL
